Career Fair at the Carl-Hermann-Gymnasium Schönebeck
An open door event took place at the Carl Hermann Gymnasium in Schönebeck, a cooperation school with the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and the Prime Gymnasium of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg on 14 January 2017, with more than 1000 pupils.
In addition, the Anhalt, Harz, and Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, the Federal Police Academy, Novelis Deutschland GmbH, E.ON Avacon AG, and 20 further exhibitors were represented.
In addition to the OVGU booth, the Faculty of Process Engineering and Systems Engineering presented a 45-minute lecture on the topic "What does an engineer in process engineering and life science engineering really do? Studying at the University or University of Applied Sciences" which was accompanied by experiments.

With over 50 participants and a subsequent 30-minute Q&A session for the pupils on studying process engineering at the OvGU, study requirements, and future job prospects, it was a successful day for all interested parties.
