Dr.-Ing. Teng Zhou awarded by China Scholarship Council
Dr.-Ing. Teng Zhou, researcher in the Process Systems Engineering (PSE) group, has been granted the 2016 Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-financed Students Abroad by the Chinese Scholarship Council for his academic excellence in his Ph.D. studies overseas.
Teng Zhou obtained his master degree in 2012 from East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai/China that the Max Planck Institute Magdeburg is closely cooperating with.
In 2016 he received his Ph.D. degree from the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg.
Within the PSE group, Teng Zhou proposed systematic methods for reaction solvent design and integrated solvent and process design.
As a postdoctoral researcher, he is now developing renewable and efficient energy systems.
