FVST’s Graduation Ceremony on 14 November 2015
On 14 November 2015, the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering bid farewell to the academic year 2014/15 graduates after completing their bachelor's or master's degree programs.
The diplomas were handed over during the ceremony, one of the faculty’s most important events in the academic year, took place in a dignified setting and was carried out by the Dean, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Helmut Weiß.
The newly elected Dean of the University Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal’s Department of Water, Environment, Construction, and Safety, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Torsten Schmidt, took part as a guest. The very successful degree program “Safety and Security” is jointly managed by this department and the FVST.

The Dow Olefinverbund GmbH honored the best master's graduates in "Process Engineering" and "Safety and security" this year, as well. Award winners were Mr. Matthias von Andrian-Werburg from the degree program "Chemical Engineering" and Mr. Sebastian Stahn from the degree program "Safety and Security". The award was presented by Mr. Gregor Lachnit from Dow Olefinverbund GmbH’s human resources department.
