VDI news is... good news!
This is definitely good news from VDI for our future graduates. They can look forward not only to a challenging and attractive career, but also good pay in their first job and beyond.
Written in the current VDI news from March 2015: “Engineers Earn the Best Salaries in Chemistry”. Different engineering job salaries in entry level and advancement were compared. After just two years work experience this results in an average annual income of 76500 Euros in the year 2014. As an entry level professional, one is pretty well off in the chemical industry, with an annual average of 52600 Euros.
So, money alone may not buy happiness, but combined with a degree from the FVST in the area of chemical/process engineering the future prospects are looking pretty good!
