What’s it going to be? - Finding Careers in the Carnot Building
On 29 and 30 September 2015, Burger Roland-Gymnasium’s classes 10.1 and 10.2 visited the Carnot-Building with approximately 50 students. The topic of the day: finding a career!
First, Dr. Andreas Voigt generally introduced the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering’s various degree programs under the title “What is process engineering?”.
Then the keywords biomass utilization, high-pressure reactor, and electrolysis cell received a new and very vivid reference during a glance into the bioprocess engineering, chemical process engineering, and systems engineering laboratories.
Process engineering, chemical engineering, and biosystems engineering students of varying degree levels answered general questions regarding the course of study in the concluding Q&A session; Magdeburg was presented as an attractive place of study with lots of culture and diverse sporting facilities.
We are sure that we have drawn the attention of one or the other student to our new and interesting study options and will possibly be welcoming them to our faculty in the future.
Pocket warmers were handed out as souvenirs, which were received very well during this time of year!
Many thanks for the good cooperation to all those involved!
