Welcome event for freshmen on 8th of October 2015
We can look back on a successful freshmen welcome event, for which more than 80 students accepted our faculty’s invitation. During the event, this year's conferment of the Solvay-Scholarship took place.
The Solvay-Scholarship is awarded annually by Solvay GmbH to the year's best in the bachelor's degree programs in "Environmental and Energy Process Engineering" and "Process Engineering". This year, Ms. Julika Hils was present as company representative. Ms. Hils is with the EMEA Talent Acquisition Process Specialist DACH at Solvay. Ms. Antje David was nominated as this year's winner in the bachelor’s program in "Process Engineering". As Ms. David currently resides in Finland for a semester abroad, the award will be handed over in Magdeburg at a later time.
The tours through the institutes and and the events organized by the student council also received a great response from the students. Many thanks to all participants from the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering who contributed to the success of these events.
