DECHEMA Gives Out Research Stipends

This year, the section for reaction engineering gave out three research stipends to PhD candidates in reaction engineering to work with foreign research groups in the amount of 3000 euros each for the first time.

This aims to promote international exchange between young scientists in the area of reaction engineering. Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Jörke belongs to this category as a research associate at the FVST’s Department of Chemical Process Engineering (Prof. Seidel-Morgenstern).

 

Research topic:

Investigation of reaction mechanisms and reaction kinetic modeling of the homogeneously catalyzed hydroformylation of long-chain substrates

The foreign stay is planned for the beginning of 2017 and will take place at:

Prof. Marc Garland, Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences ICES, Singapore.
