The FVST celebrated its graduates on 12 November 2016

The Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering bid farewell to those who completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree in the academic year of 2015/16 on 12 November 2016.
As part of this celebration, the newly elected Dean, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dominique Thévenin, handed out the certificates.
Other guests at the event included representatives from the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences’ Department of Water, Environment, Construction, and Security, with whom the FVST conducts the successful study program in Safety and Hazard Defence, and from the OVGU, the Vice Chancellor for Studies and Teaching, academic advisors and supervisors to those receiving awards.
The faculty honored the following graduates for outstanding bachelor’s or master’s degrees:

This year marked the first time that the Association for Safety and Hazard Defence e.V. issued an award. Mr. J-Prof. Herz handed over the award for the best bachelor’s degree graduate in the study program in Safety and Security to Mr. Lukas Janisch.
Dr. Knut Gedicke from the Dow Olefinverbund GmbH honored Mr. Karsten Rätze as the best master's degree graduate in the Process Engineering degree program and Mr. Christoph Frömter as the best master's degree graduate in the Safety and Security degree program with a monetary award. This has already been tradition, and we would like to thank Dow Olefinverbund GmbH for their commitment in motivating our best graduates.
