Mr. B. Sc. Florian Brömel was awarded with the VDI Award 2015 for its outstanding undergraduate thesis on "Thermal energy recovery in an incineration plant to reduce the heating costs for a district heating network".

JProf. Dr.-Ing. Fabian Herz was awarded on 07-13-2015 for the best poster at the Joint Conference of the 5th China-UK and 13th UK Particle Technology Forum.

The Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering has been included into the I.DEAR 2015 programme by the German-Argentinian University Center (DAHZ) scientific committee; the Universidad Nacional del Sur (UNS) in Bahia Blanca's Department of Chemical Engineering is the partner on the Argentinian side.

At the beginning of your studies, mathematics will play an important role as a stand-alone lecture in engineering, natural sciences, and economics programmes, but will constantly accompany you throughout your other lectures.

The world’s largest exhibitors’ conference for chemical technology, environmental protection, and biotechnology - ACHEMA - took place on the exhibition grounds in Frankfurt/M. on the 15. – 19.06.2015.
