New Degree Program Mathematical Engineering
Starting with the winter semester 2015/2016 there will be a new interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree program in Mathematical Engineering, which will be carried out in collaboration by the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and the Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering.
“Science at City Hall” on 29 June 2015 “Active ingredient against Malaria: From Plant to Medicine”
The “Science at City Hall” series will be continued on Monday, 29 June 2015 starting at 19:00. The focus of the new episode is research for effective malaria drugs.
Budding(?) Students let the FVST Wind Caress Their Faces
On the FVST Info Day on 21 March 2015, aspiring high school graduates, secondary school students with their parents and even students already enrolled at a university with an interest in chemical engineering from Magdeburg carefully followed the remarks of our Dean, Prof. Weiss and then the laboratory staff, during the presentation of our faculty, the study possibilities, and the current research topics.
Girls’Day and Boys’Day
The Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg invites secondary school students to a Topics Day for study and career guidance. As such, the OVGU is participating in the nationally held Girls’Day and Boys’Day for the third time.
