Budding(?) Students let the FVST Wind Caress Their Faces
On the FVST Info Day on 21 March 2015, aspiring high school graduates, secondary school students with their parents and even students already enrolled at a university with an interest in chemical engineering from Magdeburg carefully followed the remarks of our Dean, Prof. Weiss and then the laboratory staff, during the presentation of our faculty, the study possibilities, and the current research topics. The participants, some of which traveled from afar, for example Papenburg, received amongst other things an explanation of the possibilities of fluid mechanic investigations in the wind tunnel using a model vehicle.
During the concluding cook-out, organized by our Student Council, other issues of interest, in particular the study curriculum, study environment, housing, etc. could be clarified by the right people, our FVST students themselves.
A big thank you to everyone involved at the FVST for their support and help in organizing and implementing the FVST Info Day 2015!
