Magdeburg goes MINT - and the FVST is Right in the Center
On 29 and 30 April 2016 the FVST, specifically the Chemical Process Engineering’s cotton candy machine (special thanks to Luise Borchert for her tireless efforts!) attracted many children to Exhibition Hall 1 at the Elbauenpark with the special scent of cotton candy.
In particular, the littler ones among the visitors were able to then learn why a pocket warmer gets warm by "clicking" at Dr. Andreas Voigt's Kids' University on Saturday.
At the end it was clear that the topic of MINT, i.e. mathematics, computer science, science and technology, is behind process engineering in a special and specific manner and it pays to remain curious in this area. Maybe even to start course of study in this direction? As it says on the pocket warmers: "Study Process Engineering in Magdeburg!" This is the "warmest" of recommendations!
