The faculty would like to congratulate Prof. Dominique Thévenin on being awarded the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg's 2016 Research Prize! Together with the recipient, we are delighted to receive honors for his outstanding achievements as a process engineer in the research area of fluid mechanics and technical flows.

Dr.-Ing. Hannes Mann was awarded a prize for the faculty’s best dissertation at the 24th Academic Ceremony yesterday. Born in 1988 in Berlin, he studied Process Engineering at the Otto von Guericke University starting in 2007 and completed his master’s degree “with distinction”.

The national Greenday took place on 14 November 2016. As part of it, The Zukunft FEMININ project at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg organized a Greenday – MINT Trial Day for 10th grade pupils from Saxony-Anhalt.

November Benoît Fond, Juniorprofessor am Institut für Strömungsmechanik und Thermodynamik, aus dem französischen Bilderbuch „L’inventeur/Der Erfinder“ vor.
