On 28 April 2016, young girls and boys were presented the opportunity to gain insight into everyday engineering at the rain the wind tunnel of the FVST’s Laboratory of Fluid Dynamics and Technical Flows (LSS) during this year's Girls 'and Boys' Day.

On 26 April 2016 the 25th anniversary of the German study programme "Chemical Engineering" at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy (UCTM) Sofia was celebrated with a ceremony.

Opportunities for women in science and industry, reconciling career and family, the proportion of women in top positions - these were the central topics that were addressed and discussed at the 3^rd FVST Ladies’ Night for Women in MINT.

During the week leading up to Easter, 23 pupils from all over Saxonia-Anhalt and Lower Saxony once again took the first steps towards deciding on a scientific-technical course of study by spending their time in the MPI Magdeburg and the FVST’s laboratories with young scientists for the Process Engineering and Technical Cybernetics Student Internship.

The Magdeburg MINT Fair on 29 and 30 April 2016 in the Exhibition Halls aims to awaken pupil’s appetite for MINT programs. FVST cotton candy probably makes this task even easier.
